On October 7th, Saturday, a 6.3 earthquake occurred in Afghanistan twenty-three miles north-west of Herat-City in the province of Zendah Jan.

The Taliban, a dubious source of information, is reporting 2,000 while independent verification posts it 100 fatalities. Based on the chart, I would agree fatalities are small because of the low density in the area — a see-saw and not a locomotive or even a bundle — and the Arabian Parts are all filled with thanksgiving and gratitude. Since this area gets a serious earthquake everyone few years, fatalities of 100 if relatively minor.

The Hindu Kush plate

As Afghanistan lies near the junction of the Eurasian and Indian tectonic plates, it often gets earthquakes, particularly in the area around the Hindu Kush mountain range. The Kush is a 500-mile long mountain range and is part of the Himalayan mountain range. It stretches between central Afghanistan and Northern Pakistan and is 7,692 meters (26,236 feet) tall. and at its highest altitudes, has glaciers with attendant heavy snowfall. Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world, is just 3000 feet higher, but the Kush’s solitary mountains are far less in magnitude..

June 2022 Quake

In June 2022 was less in magnitude pegged at 5.9 but killed a least 1,000 people and injured about 1,500 people. The United Nations (UN) official tally was 1,039 deaths and 2,949 injuries, including 230 dead and 591 injured children. The Taliban government claimed the death toll was double that..

The June 21st quake though was quite violent and by comparing the charts one can easily see the difference.

The solstice earthquake has a preponderance of earth signs all centered on an angle. It is a bundle (ignore Pluto when it is an outlier like here). The twelfth house has a busy stellium and overall, all the planets are quite concentrated.
