Joyce Wehrman, a gambler and astrologer, discovered a good link to the hypothetical planet Transpluto. when gambling. John Hawkins’ book Transpluto Or Should We Call Him BACCHUS the Ruler of Taurus (currently runs about 10.00 dollars which is 50% cheaper than when I first published this post) has been a good tip and Ms. Wehrman was urged to use Transpluto, but reluctant to admit that something that she was not using could be important, so she ignored that lead. Finally, four years later, I decided that my method was wrong and adopted Transpluto; vanity is hard to overcome.
Transpluto maybe the key but remember the Nodes!
After years of working with it, Wehrman writes that she urges everyone to use Transpluto!! She found the aspects and position of Transpluto often have to do with major wins and winning times. Keeping this in mind though: make your gambling astrological system as simple as possible- she only added to a basic astrological chart that which adds information that cannot be found in any other manner.
Thus after researching the use of Transpluto for two years, in every imaginable chart I have come to the conclusion that without it, winning is not possible. Transits of the natal Transpluto are very revealing. Daily transits between it and other planets are mandatory for understanding events that transpire in the world scene.
The Part of the Fortune is good and so are the Nodes for finding aspects. Trines are fun but no money. Jupiter does not work. So that leaves us with Conjunctions, squares and oppositions — what are normally called the hard aspects . To win you must activate the winning houses in your horoscope which are of course House 2, 5 and 8 but rarely 11 (Hopes and Dreams) because that is a good time house. Look for that if you are throwing a party not if you are gambling.

For the record, the trine aspect is great for being good time works; I’ve tested this one many times and it is such a good barometer, I’d recommend it as being a good day to schedule a wedding or a party, but I would avoid the track that day, you’re hunches will be off.
Wehrman always used the KOCH Method of House Division.
Other things to keep in mind is that you must have a transiting planet activating your gambling natal planet. That means look to your fifth house cusp, what is its lord and then see whether it is the racing 5th house of speculation the 9th house of gambling and luck, the 2nd and 8th houses of money, the 11th house of dreams, or the 10th house. in that order.
A planet is activated when it makes either a conjunction, opposition,or square to a transitting planet, remember that sextiles and trines are not “lucky.” While Ms. Wehrman used minor aspects at times she preferred major aspects and planets, that’s always best in any endeavor: major Ptolemaic aspects. She did not recommend gambling when a midpoint involving Mars, Saturn, or Neptune are being activated. I have to admit I have yet to use that.
Your midheaven and ascendant are always used because they represent you.
