Today is Veterans’ Day, a federally mandated holidays in the US, for all those who served our country.
Originally it was just for the dead and missing, but in 1954 Congress expanded it to everyone who served. I set our chart for the White House at the same time as the original Armistice was declared: 11:11 on 11:11 and serves as a proxy for the nation.
Veteran’s Day Astrologically elsewhere
The chart shows a preponderance in Scorpio at the Midheaven sextile the Ascendant of 16 Capricorn. This gets the keyword “mixed messages” from E.C. Matthews and that seems to be born by the chart itself.
A lot has been happening, the highlight, of course, was the anti-corruption purge in Saudi Arabia. This led to the shock of the Lebanese PM resignation (click for that chart) and his subsequent disappearance.
Overall, the chart points to a series of events that do not seem to be what they appear. Because this is Scorpio, the truth may never come ou, so what the Prime Minister did to offend the prince we will never know but does make for intriguing speculation particularly since he came to power with his father’s assassination on March 14, 2005.
See Mars in Libra where it is in its detriment in the ninth, foreign plays, with Uranus opposite it in the third, a suggestion of disrupting the course of things which puts us right back to the start and the ascendant of Capricorn 16 and its neighboring Pluto.
While it is a wide opposition but if we ignore that, the T-Square to Pluto, which is co-ruler of Scorpio to some, that is in the tenth house.. Using Jones orbs 1 Marc Jones orbs were 17 ½ for the Sun and 12 for the Moon the Sun is conjunct Jupiter which I have already posted is the proxy for the Saudi Prince in the Hariri post. Here , we find the Scorpio Sun square its fellow ruler Mars in the ninth house of foreign affairs.
Update 12 June 2023
President Aoun refused to accept his resignation and demanded that Hariri return to Lebanon to discuss the matter. Hariri was allowed to return to Lebanon several weeks later, where he immediately suspended his resignation and officially rescinded his resignation. He said nothing about his visit to Saudi Arabia. He continued playing in Lebanese politics until a major riff with his brother, Bahaa, in May 2022.
