Senator Amy Klobuchar is a member of the Minnesotan Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, founded by former Vice President Hubert Horatio Humphrey Jr. on April 15, 1944. Vice President Walter Mondale was also a member of the party. Recently, Klobuchar was one of the candidates for Democratic nominee for the office of president of the USA. She resigned and gave her support to former Vice President Joseph Biden.
