Taurus 28 degrees A woman pursued by mature romance
Moving to Tampa we get Taurus 28 in appropriately enough the Seventh House of Relationship. it is Square the day’s Midheaven of 28 Leo that is conjunct the Fixed Star Regulus. It seems that yesterday upset and angst is turning into resourcefulness and gov’t agencies (according to USA Today) are falling down on the job and individual efforts are spearheading the rescue efforts in Texas.
The Moon is too far away to make our lady sit down and cry but it is a palling influence on the situation.
She does get a a Yod from happy Jupiter in the Eleventh House of the general public sextile a rather dour Saturn sitting on the Second House Cusp making people right now wonder if their summer frolics did not run up too many bills, or perhaps it is the worry in Texas and Florida of how to return to work and earn some money. This could also be afflicting hobbyists wondering how to turn passion into cash. It is a conundrum and the YOD gives the sobering answer is that it’s up to you to make that happen or realize that it’s a mistake (MC conjunct FS mentioned later ) and move on.
And we wonder why the Moon is nearby making her a bit nervous?

As we are in Tampa today, we are setting the August 21 eclipse to that spot and when it hit there and notice that disruptive Uranus in the Eleventh Chart and semi-sextile our Lady. Our Yod points have not changed much since then and the Eclipse Moon in the 3rd House is hitting our Yod Point of Awareness partilely (exactly), suggesting that friends and family are concerned about the lack of communications in the Sunshine State.

For the rest of us? Perhaps elsewhere as well, communications are not going that well, misunderstandings are festering, hanging over from the days before, and no one is looking for closure. Marc Jones writes “the tendency to take too much to heart and accept lesser experiences when greater could lie at hand” is the problem and since the Midheaven is Square our Lady perhaps Leonine Pride is making her refuse good suitors (and friends) for the promise of better ones tomorrow.
