… but I’m a Kingfisher in Louisiana
Huey Pierce Long, Jr. was a a Democratic member of the United States Senate when he was assassinated in 1935. Prior he had served as the 40th Governor of Louisiana from 1928 to 1932. He was a populist, denouncing the rich and the Eastern run banks. He called for “Share Our Wealth” program which he created in 1934 under the motto “Every Man a King”.
He proposed radical welfare measures and under his leadership hospitals and educational institutions were expanded and massive infrastructural improvements were made in rural areas. While highly popular among some sections of the society, he was also a controversial figure who gained notoriety because of his executive dictatorship through which he gained control of his home state, but there is no doubt that FDR would have not instituted social security without his impetus.
Goring in inverse
If you look at Goring’s chart, flip it around you will see that Governor Long’s, is in inverse. The Senator according to Marc Jones’s 1000 Nativities was born August 30, 1893 at 4:15 AM in Winnfield, Louisiana and we using that. His temperament type is a lipped bowl using his resources and scooping up experience. His Part of Fortune at 10 Capricorn in the Sixth house of service has an omnious warning for the Governor, from Adriano Carelli “beware nighttime dangers:” for indeed Mr. Long was slain at 9:22 PM on September 8, 1935.
There are a lot of theories of who killed the Kingfisher. Looking at his progressed chart we think that 20 Libra on the cusp of the second house, “around an alter the fire of sacrifice is blazing and the priests lay a sacred mean, ” we think it was an inside job.
